Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
JOSD2 (Jumonji and AT-rich interaction domain-containing protein 2) is a member of the Jumonji C (JmjC) domain-containing protein family, which is known for its role as a histone demethylase and regulation of gene expression through epigenetic modifications. Research into JOSD2 has gained attention due to its potential involvement in various biological processes, including cellular differentiation, development, and disease pathogenesis. Abnormal expression or mutations in JOSD2 are associated with several conditions, particularly certain types of cancer and neurological disorders, highlighting its importance in human health. The study of recombinant JOSD2 protein enables scientists to investigate its enzymatic activity, structural characteristics, and functional roles within the cell. By producing this protein in vitro, researchers can explore its interactions with histones and other cellular factors, contributing to a better understanding of epigenetic regulation mechanisms. Additionally, recombinant JOSD2 is valuable for developing therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its function in diseased states. Overall, shedding light on the role of JOSD2 through recombinant protein studies may reveal novel insights into epigenetic regulation and open new avenues for targeted therapies in various diseases.
