Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-15 (IL-15) is a pivotal cytokine involved in the regulation of immune responses, particularly in the proliferation and activation of natural killer (NK) cells and CD8+ T cells. Its unique role in enhancing immune responses has garnered significant interest in the field of immunotherapy, especially for cancer treatment and infectious diseases. Unlike other cytokines, IL-15 can be produced by various cell types and possesses a mechanism of action that allows it to be presented on the surface of cells, making it a crucial factor in maintaining memory T cells and supporting the survival of lymphocytes. Research on recombinant IL-15 protein has revealed its potential not only in boosting immune cell function but also in improving the efficacy of vaccines and therapeutic protocols. This exploration has led to advances in designing IL-15-based therapies, including its use in combination with monoclonal antibodies and other immunotherapeutic agents. Furthermore, understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying IL-15 signaling has opened new avenues for targeted therapies aimed at modulating immune responses in cancer and other diseases. Ongoing studies are focused on optimizing delivery methods, understanding dosage effects, and minimizing potential side effects, while preclinical and clinical trials are assessing the safety, tolerability, and effectiveness of recombinant IL-15 in various therapeutic contexts. The compelling properties of IL-15 make it a promising candidate for enhancing immunotherapeutic strategies, emphasizing the need for continued investigation into its therapeutic applications.
