Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Insulin-like growth factor 2 (IGF2) is a critical peptide hormone involved in growth and development, particularly during fetal and postnatal stages. Research on IGF2 recombinant proteins has gained significant attention due to their potential therapeutic applications in treating growth disorders and metabolic diseases. IGF2 is known to play key roles in cellular proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis, making it a vital factor in various physiological processes. Its dysregulation is associated with numerous conditions, including cancer and other growth-related disorders. The ability to produce IGF2 as a recombinant protein allows for detailed investigations into its biological functions and therapeutic applications. Furthermore, recombinant IGF2 can be engineered to enhance its stability and activity, providing insights into its mechanism of action and interactions with IGF receptors. As interest in hormone-based treatments increases, understanding the structure-function relationship of IGF2 and its signaling pathways is crucial for developing effective therapies. Advanced biotechnological methods enable the large-scale production of IGF2, contributing to research on its role in human health and disease management. Consequently, the exploration of IGF2 recombinant proteins offers promising avenues for therapeutic innovation, particularly in regenerative medicine and metabolic disease interventions.
