Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRR4 (Proline Rich Protein 4) is a member of the proline-rich protein family, which is implicated in various cellular processes, particularly in maintaining epithelial integrity and modulating immune responses. Recent studies have suggested that PRR4 plays a significant role in the oral epithelium, where it is involved in salivary secretion, antimicrobial activity, and tissue repair mechanisms. The interest in PRR4 has grown due to its potential involvement in pathophysiological conditions such as oral cancers and autoimmune diseases. Researchers have focused on characterizing its expression patterns, post-translational modifications, and interactions with other proteins to elucidate its functional roles. Understanding PRR4's mechanisms may provide insights into therapeutic strategies for oral health and disease management. Furthermore, the development of recombinant PRR4 proteins allows for detailed studies into its biological functions, interactions, and potential applications in regenerative medicine and immunology, making it a promising target for future research in both fundamental biology and clinical applications.
