Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-7 (IL-7) is a crucial cytokine involved in the development and homeostasis of T and B lymphocytes, playing a significant role in the immune system. Its importance has prompted extensive research into IL-7, especially its potential applications in immunotherapy and regenerative medicine. The study of recombinant IL-7 proteins has gained momentum in recent years, driven by the need to understand its mechanisms of action, enhance its therapeutic efficacy, and explore its use in treating various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders. Recombinant IL-7 can stimulate lymphocyte production and proliferation, making it a candidate for therapies aimed at enhancing immune responses, particularly in patients with immunodeficiencies or those undergoing cancer treatments like chemotherapy. Moreover, its ability to support T cell recovery after lymphopenia has implications for improving outcomes in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Researchers are focusing on optimizing the production of recombinant IL-7 using various expression systems, assessing its stability, and characterizing its biological activity. Overall, the ongoing exploration of IL-7 as a recombinant protein highlights its potential as a therapeutic agent, offering insights into innovative treatment strategies that harness the power of the immune system.
