Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TOP2b (Topoisomerase II beta) is a crucial enzyme involved in the dynamic management of DNA topology during various cellular processes such as replication, transcription, and repair. Unlike its isoform TOP2a, TOP2b is predominantly expressed in the heart and has been implicated in several essential functions including cell differentiation, development, and response to stress. Research into TOP2b has gained momentum due to its potential role in cancer biology, particularly in the context of its association with specific tumorigenic processes and response to chemotherapy. Recent studies have suggested that dysregulation of TOP2b can contribute to genomic instability and cancer progression, making it an attractive target for therapeutic intervention. Moreover, understanding the structure and function of TOP2b at a molecular level may facilitate the development of novel drugs that can selectively inhibit its activity in tumor cells, thus offering promising strategies for cancer treatment. Investigations into the biochemistry and cellular functions of TOP2b continue to reveal new insights that could significantly impact the fields of molecular biology and oncology, fostering a deeper understanding of its roles in health and disease.
