Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HSF2BP (Heat Shock Factor 2-Binding Protein) is a versatile protein that plays a crucial role in the cellular stress response, particularly in the regulation of heat shock proteins (HSPs). Its relationship with Heat Shock Factor 2 (HSF2), a key transcription factor, highlights its importance in maintaining proteostasis under stress conditions such as elevated temperatures, oxidative stress, and other cellular challenges. Research has shown that HSF2BP modulates HSF2 activity and influences the expression of HSPs, which are essential for refolding misfolded proteins and preventing aggregation. Dysregulation of this pathway has been linked to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. Thus, understanding the structure and function of HSF2BP as a recombinant protein can provide critical insights into its mechanisms of action. Studies involving recombinantly expressed HSF2BP allow researchers to explore its interaction with HSFs and downstream targets, elucidating the broader implications of stress responses in health and disease. Investigating HSF2BP's role in the heat shock response not only enhances our comprehension of cellular adaptation but also presents potential therapeutic avenues for conditions associated with proteostasis imbalances.
