  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

LAMC1, or laminin subunit gamma-1, is a crucial component of the extracellular matrix, playing a vital role in tissue organization, cell adhesion, and signaling pathways. It is a part of the laminin family, which consists of glycoproteins that contribute to the structure and function of basement membranes. Research has shown that LAMC1 is implicated in various biological processes, including cellular differentiation, migration, and proliferation. Notably, it has been linked to developmental disorders and certain cancers, especially in the context of tumor progression and metastatic behavior. The recombinant LAMC1 protein is increasingly studied for its potential therapeutic applications and as a tool for understanding its mechanistic roles in diseases. By expressing LAMC1 in heterologous systems, scientists can investigate its functions and interactions with other proteins, providing insights into its contributions to tissue pathology. Furthermore, characterizing the recombinant protein enables the exploration of its use in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. The study of LAMC1 not only enhances our understanding of extracellular matrix dynamics but also opens avenues for innovative treatment strategies against diseases influenced by aberrant LAMC1 expression or function.
