稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCBP2 (Poly(rC) binding protein 2) is a member of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) family, playing a crucial role in various cellular processes, including RNA metabolism, translation, and viral infection. Its involvement in RNA binding enables it to regulate mRNA stability, splicing, and translation efficiency, making it significant in gene expression control. Importantly, PCBP2 has been implicated in multiple diseases, particularly in the context of certain cancers and viral infections, where it can facilitate the replication of viruses like hepatitis C and poliovirus. Due to its pivotal functions, PCBP2 attracts considerable interest for therapeutic interventions, particularly in developing antiviral strategies and cancer treatments. Recent studies have focused on characterizing the structure and function of PCBP2, including its protein-protein and protein-RNA interactions, to better understand its biological roles. Recombinant PCBP2 proteins have been engineered for these studies, providing valuable insights into its mechanisms of action and potential as a drug target. The ongoing research aims to unravel the complexities of PCBP2's involvement in cellular pathways and its potential as a biomarker for diseases, highlighting the importance of this protein in health and disease.
