Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NOD2 (nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-containing protein 2) is a crucial cytosolic pattern recognition receptor involved in the innate immune response, primarily recognizing bacterial peptidoglycans. Mutations in the NOD2 gene have been linked to various inflammatory diseases, including Crohn's disease, highlighting its significance in gut homeostasis and immune regulation. Research into recombinant NOD2 proteins has gained traction as a means to better understand its structure-function relationship and downstream signaling pathways. The ability to produce NOD2 as a recombinant protein enables scientists to explore its interactions with various ligands, assess the impact of specific mutations, and investigate its role in immune signaling cascades. Additionally, recombinant NOD2 can be utilized to develop targeted therapies for diseases associated with dysregulation of this receptor. As such, studies on NOD2 recombinant proteins not only advance fundamental immunological knowledge but also pave the way for innovative therapeutic strategies in the context of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders.
