Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-18 receptor beta (IL18Rβ) is a crucial component of the interleukin-18 (IL-18) signaling pathway, which plays a significant role in the immune response and inflammation. IL-18, an important pro-inflammatory cytokine, is primarily produced by activated macrophages and is known to enhance the production of interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) from T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, thereby supporting the body's defense against intracellular pathogens. Research on IL18Rβ focuses on its role in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, and cancers. The study of recombinant IL18Rβ proteins has opened avenues for understanding its function and its potential as a therapeutic target. By generating recombinant IL18Rβ, researchers can investigate its interactions with IL-18 and downstream signaling mechanisms. Furthermore, recombinant proteins serve as essential tools for developing diagnostic assays and immunotherapies. Given the rising interest in the modulation of cytokine signaling pathways for therapeutic purposes, IL18Rβ holds promise for novel treatment strategies, particularly in diseases characterized by dysregulated inflammation. Overall, the exploration of IL18Rβ is vital for elucidating its biological roles and harnessing its potential in clinical applications.
