Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLA2G4, also known as phospholipase A2 group 4, plays a crucial role in various physiological and pathological processes by catalyzing the hydrolysis of phospholipids to release arachidonic acid, a key precursor for bioactive lipids. Its involvement in inflammatory responses, neurodegeneration, and cancer progression has garnered significant attention from the scientific community. Researchers have focused on the recombinant expression of PLA2G4 to study its structure-function relationships, enzymatic activity, and potential as a therapeutic target. The recombinant protein facilitates detailed investigations into the regulatory mechanisms governing PLA2G4 activity, its interaction with membrane lipids, and its contributions to cell signaling pathways. Advances in recombinant protein technology and purification methods have enabled the production of biologically active PLA2G4 for biochemical assays and structural studies. Understanding the dynamics of PLA2G4 not only enhances our knowledge of lipid metabolism but also opens avenues for developing pharmacological interventions that could modulate its function in disease contexts. Therefore, the study of PLA2G4 as a recombinant protein is essential for unraveling its biological significance and therapeutic potential, underscoring its relevance in modern biomedical research.
