稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The OR13A1 protein, a member of the olfactory receptor family, has garnered significant interest due to its potential role in the modulation of sensory perception and its implications in various physiological processes. Olfactory receptors are critical for the detection of odorant molecules, and OR13A1, like other receptors in this family, is intricately involved in the mechanisms of smell. Recent studies have indicated that OR13A1 may also have non-olfactory functions, possibly contributing to pathways related to immune response and neurological signaling. Investigating the recombinant expression of OR13A1 can provide insights into its structural characteristics and functional properties. Furthermore, understanding the ligand-binding profile of OR13A1 could unveil novel therapeutic targets for disorders related to sensory processing. The recombinant protein can be utilized in various experimental paradigms, including binding assays and functional screens, to elucidate its biological significance. Advances in biotechnology now allow for the efficient production of OR13A1 in heterologous systems, enabling researchers to explore its interactions and influence in both olfactory and non-olfactory contexts. The ongoing research into OR13A1 not only aims to clarify its role in olfactory signaling but also seeks to broaden our understanding of how this receptor may affect broader biological systems, highlighting its potential as a target for pharmacological intervention. Through these investigations, OR13A1 stands as an intriguing subject within the broader field of sensory biology and receptor research, paving the way for new discoveries that could inform therapeutic strategies and enhance our understanding of sensory modalities.
