Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PGR (Progesterone Receptor) is a crucial nuclear receptor involved in various biological processes, primarily in reproductive functions and endocrine signaling. Its role extends beyond reproduction, influencing cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis in multiple tissues. The study of PGR has gained significant attention due to its implications in various pathologies, including breast and endometrial cancers, where aberrant PGR signaling may contribute to tumorigenesis. Researchers are increasingly focused on the structural and functional characterization of PGR and its ligands, exploring its reconstitution as a recombinant protein to facilitate high-throughput screening for novel therapeutic agents. Additionally, understanding the molecular mechanisms of PGR action, including its conformational changes upon ligand binding and interaction with coregulatory proteins, is essential for the development of selective modulators that can effectively target PGR pathways with minimal side effects. Advances in recombinant protein technology, including expression systems and purification techniques, have enabled scientists to produce PGR in a functional form, providing insights into its biological activity and potential utility in targeted therapies.
