  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TAF7L is a member of the TATA-binding protein (TBP)-associated factor family, which plays a crucial role in transcription regulation and gene expression. It is primarily expressed in germ cells and has been implicated in important processes such as spermatogenesis and oogenesis. Notably, TAF7L is thought to influence the formation and function of chromatin structures, contributing to the epigenetic regulation of genes during development. Research has shown that mutations or dysregulation of TAF7L can lead to reproductive issues and may be associated with various infertility conditions. The study of TAF7L recombinant proteins provides insights into its functional mechanisms and interactions with other transcription factors and chromatin remodelers. By investigating the structural and biochemical properties of TAF7L, researchers aim to elucidate its role in germ cell development and fertility, potentially paving the way for new therapeutic strategies to address infertility. Understanding TAF7L’s contributions to gene expression and chromatin dynamics is essential for comprehending male and female reproductive biology, as well as for advancing reproductive medicine.
