Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ITGa2, also known as integrin alpha-2, is a cell surface receptor that plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, signaling, and communication within the extracellular matrix. Its involvement in various biological processes, including wound healing, immune responses, and tissue development, has garnered significant interest in the field of molecular biology. Recent studies have indicated that ITGa2 may have implications in cancer progression, particularly in the metastasis of certain tumors, making it a potential biomarker for disease prognosis and therapeutic targets. The recombinant protein form of ITGa2 allows researchers to explore its structural and functional properties in a controlled environment, facilitating the study of its interactions with ligands and other cellular components. These investigations are crucial for understanding the precise mechanisms by which ITGa2 influences cellular behavior, and they offer insights into the development of novel therapeutic strategies for diseases associated with dysregulation of integrin signaling. Given the crucial role that integrins play in various pathophysiological conditions, the study of ITGa2 and its recombinant protein forms is an emerging and significant area of research, promising advancements in both basic science and clinical applications.
