Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FBPA (Fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase) is a crucial enzyme involved in the gluconeogenesis pathway, primarily responsible for the conversion of fructose-1,6-bisphosphate to fructose-6-phosphate. This enzyme plays a significant role in glucose homeostasis and energy metabolism, particularly in liver and kidney tissues. Research surrounding recombinant FBPA has gained attention due to its potential applications in metabolic engineering and therapeutic interventions for metabolic disorders, such as diabetes. The ability to produce recombinant FBPA allows for detailed structural and functional studies, enabling insights into its catalytic mechanisms and regulation. Furthermore, understanding the enzyme’s activity under various physiological conditions can pave the way for novel strategies to manipulate metabolic pathways. Advances in biotechnology have facilitated the expression and purification of FBPA from various sources, leading to enhanced studies on its kinetics, interaction with other proteins, and potential inhibitors. Additionally, the exploration of FBPA as a target for drug development could provide new avenues for treating diseases associated with dysregulated glucose metabolism. This growing body of research underscores the importance of FBPA in both basic biological processes and its potential translational applications in medicine.
