Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of HOXC5, a member of the homeobox gene family, has garnered significant interest due to its critical role in embryonic development and cellular differentiation. HOXC5 is known to encode a transcription factor that regulates gene expression during early developmental stages, influencing processes such as limb formation and organogenesis. Recent research has highlighted its involvement in various cellular processes, including apoptosis, cell proliferation, and migration, which are pivotal in both normal physiological functions and pathological conditions such as cancer. Dysregulation of HOXC5 expression has been implicated in tumorigenesis, leading to the hypothesis that it may serve as a potential biomarker or therapeutic target in cancer treatment. The recombinant form of HOXC5 protein offers a valuable tool for dissecting its biological functions and interactions within cellular pathways. By producing and characterizing this protein, researchers aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms by which HOXC5 exerts its effects and to explore its potential roles in therapeutic strategies targeting malignancies and developmental disorders. Consequently, advancing the understanding of HOXC5 through recombinant protein studies is crucial for unveiling its contributions to developmental biology and disease pathogenesis.
