Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GSTM1, a member of the glutathione S-transferase (GST) family, plays a crucial role in detoxifying various endogenous and exogenous compounds by catalyzing the conjugation of these substances with glutathione. Its significance lies not only in metabolic processes but also in its implications for susceptibility to various diseases, including cancer. The GSTM1 gene exhibits a unique polymorphism characterized by the deletion of the gene in some individuals, leading to a null genotype. This genetic variation has been associated with altered enzyme activity, which may affect an individual's ability to metabolize carcinogens and other harmful compounds. Research into GSTM1 recombinant proteins has gained momentum as scientists seek to better understand its structure-function relationships, enzymatic activity, and potential therapeutic applications. The production of GSTM1 recombinant proteins allows for detailed biochemical studies, enabling the exploration of its role in drug metabolism, the development of personalized medicine strategies, and the assessment of its influence on disease susceptibility. Furthermore, understanding GSTM1's interactions with specific substrates could lead to the design of more effective chemotherapeutic agents and the identification of biomarkers for disease risk assessment. As such, GSTM1 recombinant proteins are not only valuable tools for basic research but also hold promise for advancing clinical applications in pharmacogenomics and personalized healthcare.
