Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HOXB7 is a member of the homeobox gene family, which plays a crucial role in development and differentiation processes. It is primarily involved in regulating embryonic development, cellular growth, and tissue patterning. Recent studies have implicated HOXB7 in various cancers, making it a potential biomarker for tumor progression and a target for therapeutic interventions. Specifically, it has been shown to be overexpressed in several malignancies, including breast, lung, and prostate cancers, where it contributes to oncogenic processes, such as increased cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. The recombinant protein of HOXB7 has garnered interest for its potential utility in studies aimed at understanding its functional roles in cancer biology and for developing targeted therapies. By producing a recombinant form of HOXB7, researchers aim to dissect its molecular mechanisms and interactions in cellular signaling pathways. This research could provide valuable insights into its contribution to tumorigenesis and cancer progression, ultimately assisting in the design of novel therapeutic strategies that could hinder HOXB7's oncogenic effects. Understanding the dynamics of HOXB7 expression and function is essential for exploring its dual role as both a crucial developmental regulator and a potential target in cancer treatment. Therefore, the study of HOXB7 and its recombinant protein is critical for advancing our knowledge of cancer biology and improving clinical outcomes in oncology.
