Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HOXB2, a member of the homeobox gene family, plays a crucial role in vertebrate development, particularly in limb formation and the establishment of anterior-posterior axis patterning during embryogenesis. Its expression is tightly regulated and is essential for proper organogenesis and tissue differentiation. The investigation of HOXB2 recombinant proteins has garnered significant attention in recent years due to their potential implications in developmental biology and disease modeling. By studying HOXB2, researchers aim to elucidate its functional mechanisms and regulatory pathways, which may contribute to understanding congenital disorders linked to limb malformations and other developmental anomalies. Moreover, the recombinant protein can serve as a valuable tool for exploring protein-protein interactions and signaling pathways that govern cell fate decisions. The insights gained from HOXB2 research may further enhance our comprehension of tumorigenesis, as aberrant expression of homeobox genes, including HOXB2, has been associated with various cancers. Therefore, the production and characterization of HOXB2 recombinant protein not only provide a deeper understanding of its biological significance but also pave the way for potential therapeutic applications and the development of strategies aimed at correcting developmental defects linked to HOXB2 dysregulation. This research area bridges the gap between fundamental genetic studies and clinical applications, underscoring the importance of HOXB2 in both normal physiology and pathology.
