稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Cox-2, or cyclooxygenase-2, is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in the inflammatory response and is involved in the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are lipid compounds that mediate various physiological processes, including pain and fever. The overexpression of COX-2 has been linked to various pathological conditions, including cancer, arthritis, and cardiovascular diseases, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. The study of recombinant COX-2 proteins is essential for understanding their structure-function relationships and developing selective inhibitors that can reduce side effects associated with non-selective COX inhibitors. Recombinant COX-2 proteins can be produced using techniques such as molecular cloning and expression in host systems, allowing researchers to investigate the enzyme's catalytic mechanisms and inhibition patterns in detail. Furthermore, characterizing these proteins enables the design of novel anti-inflammatory drugs and the exploration of COX-2's role in disease mechanisms. Overall, research on recombinant COX-2 proteins not only enhances our understanding of inflammation but also holds promise for developing targeted therapies that can mitigate COX-2-related diseases while minimizing adverse effects.
