Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GMPS (Guanosine Monophosphate Synthetase) is an essential enzyme involved in the de novo synthesis pathway of purine nucleotides, playing a crucial role in cellular metabolism and proliferation. The study of GMPS has garnered significant attention due to its implications in various biological processes and diseases, particularly in cancer, where altered nucleotide metabolism is often observed. Research has shown that GMPS is vital for the proliferation of tumor cells, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. The recombinant expression of GMPS allows for detailed studies into its structure, function, and regulatory mechanisms, facilitating the development of inhibitors that could serve as novel cancer therapies. Moreover, understanding the enzymatic activity of GMPS through its recombinant form can provide insights into nucleotide imbalance in pathological conditions. As the field of biotechnology advances, the ability to produce GMPS as a recombinant protein enables high-yield studies, opening avenues for innovative drug design and targeted treatments. Additionally, exploration of GMPS's role in other diseases, such as autoimmune disorders and metabolic syndromes, underscores its importance beyond oncology, highlighting the need for comprehensive research into this enzyme's biochemistry and its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. Overall, GMPS recombinant protein research represents a promising frontier in pharmacology and biomedicine, seeking to unravel the complexities of nucleotide metabolism and its diverse implications in human health.
