Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HIST2H4 is a gene that encodes histone H4, a crucial component of the core histone protein family involved in the packaging of DNA into chromatin, thus playing a pivotal role in gene regulation, DNA replication, and repair processes. Research into HIST2H4 recombinant protein focuses on its implications in various biological processes and disease states, particularly in cancer, where aberrant histone modifications can lead to tumor progression. The study of HIST2H4 is significant because histone proteins, including HIST2H4, undergo various post-translational modifications that influence chromatin structure and function. Understanding these modifications can provide insights into epigenetic regulation and its impact on gene expression. Additionally, due to the conserved nature of histones across species, HIST2H4 serves as a model for investigating the fundamental principles of chromatin dynamics and its role in cellular functions. The expression of recombinant HIST2H4 allows researchers to analyze its biochemical properties, study interactions with DNA and other histones, and explore its role in the epigenetic landscape. The development of techniques for producing and purifying HIST2H4 in vitro enhances our ability to study these processes, paving the way for potential therapeutic applications targeting epigenetic modifications in various diseases, including cancer. Thus, the investigation of HIST2H4 recombinant protein is essential for advancing our understanding of the epigenetic regulation of gene expression and its therapeutic potentials in treating diseases linked to chromatin dysregulation.
