Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HIST1H4J is a gene that encodes a variant of histone H4, which is a crucial component of the nucleosome, the structural unit of chromatin. Research has increasingly focused on this histone variant due to its significant role in regulating gene expression, chromatin dynamics, and epigenetic modifications. Histone modifications, including acetylation, methylation, and phosphorylation, play an essential role in various biological processes such as DNA repair, replication, and transcriptional regulation. Variations in histone proteins, like that encoded by HIST1H4J, can influence chromatin structure and function, ultimately impacting cell behavior and development. Moreover, abnormal expression of histone variants has been associated with several diseases, including cancer. Given the importance of histones in epigenetic regulation, the study of HIST1H4J recombinant protein provides valuable insights into the mechanisms governing chromatin organization and the broader implications for health and disease. By examining the biochemical properties and interaction networks of HIST1H4J, researchers aim to elucidate its specific functions in cellular processes and its potential as a therapeutic target in epigenetic therapies. Understanding the role of HIST1H4J and its associated modifications can pave the way for advancements in cancer research and the development of novel treatment strategies, highlighting the importance of histone variants in cellular biology.
