Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GLK (Glycogen Synthase Kinase-3-like) proteins are a family of serine/threonine kinases that play crucial roles in various cellular processes, including cell signaling, metabolism, and development. Their significance has been underscored by their involvement in critical pathways such as glycogen metabolism and signal transduction. Research has indicated that GLK proteins are conserved across multiple species, suggesting their fundamental role in biological systems. In the context of cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and metabolic disorders, abnormal regulation of GLK activity has been associated with disease progression, highlighting the need for a deeper understanding of their function and regulation. The study of GLK recombinant proteins provides a valuable tool for elucidating the biochemical properties and mechanisms of action of these kinases. By producing these proteins in a controlled environment, researchers can investigate their interaction with substrates and inhibitors, as well as their role in cellular signaling cascades. Understanding GLK's structure-function relationship through recombinant techniques can pave the way for the development of targeted therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating GLK activity in disease contexts. Overall, the exploration of GLK recombinant proteins is vital for uncovering their biological roles and therapeutic potential, addressing significant gaps in our current understanding of cellular regulation and disease pathology.
