Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HIC2 (Zinc Finger Homeodomain 2) is a member of the homeobox gene family, which plays crucial roles in various biological processes, including development, differentiation, and gene regulation. Research has revealed that HIC2 functions as a transcriptional repressor and is involved in various physiological and pathological conditions, such as embryonic development, cancer, and immune responses. The study of HIC2 recombinant proteins is vital for understanding its molecular mechanisms and interactions with other proteins. Recombinant HIC2 proteins can be produced using molecular cloning techniques, allowing researchers to investigate the protein's structure, function, and regulatory roles in cellular processes. Additionally, these recombinant proteins serve as important tools for elucidating the pathways in which HIC2 is involved, providing insights into how its dysregulation may contribute to disease. Understanding the role of HIC2 through recombinant protein studies can ultimately pave the way for the development of targeted therapies, particularly in cancer treatment, where its repressive functions may play a significant role in tumor progression. Further research on HIC2 and its recombinant forms will enhance our understanding of gene regulation and may lead to novel therapeutic strategies for diseases associated with its altered expression.
