Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HEY2, a member of the Hairy/Enhancer of Split family of basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factors, plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including development, cellular differentiation, and vascular biology. It is prominently involved in the regulation of gene expression during embryogenesis and is known to modulate the Notch signaling pathway, which is vital for cell fate decisions and tissue homeostasis. Dysregulation of HEY2 has been linked to several pathologies, including cancer, where it can influence tumorigenesis and metastasis. As a result, understanding the functional mechanisms and interactions of HEY2 is significant for uncovering its potential as a therapeutic target. Recent advancements have enabled the generation of recombinant HEY2 proteins, facilitating studies into its structural properties, interaction with other proteins, and downstream effects on gene regulation. These studies not only enhance our knowledge of HEY2's role in normal physiology but also offer insights into its involvement in disease states, positioning HEY2 as an important protein in biomedical research.
