  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Chi3l4, also known as chitinase 3-like 1 (CHI3L1), is a member of the chitinase family of proteins and has gained considerable attention in recent years due to its implications in various biological processes and disease contexts. Initially identified as a protein associated with tissue remodeling, Chi3l4 is primarily expressed in response to inflammation and is often utilized as a biomarker for chronic inflammatory diseases, such as asthma and rheumatoid arthritis. Its role in modulating the immune response and promoting tissue repair has led to interest in its potential therapeutic applications, particularly in regenerative medicine. Additionally, Chi3l4 has been implicated in cancer biology, where high levels of this protein are associated with tumor progression and poor prognosis. Researchers are increasingly investigating the mechanisms through which Chi3l4 influences cell signaling pathways, immune cell function, and the extracellular matrix, as well as its interactions with other proteins. These studies aim to elucidate the functional significance of Chi3l4 in both pathological and physiological contexts, ultimately paving the way for innovative diagnostic and treatment strategies targeting this protein. Furthermore, the development of recombinant Chi3l4 proteins for use in experimental studies has enabled a deeper understanding of its biological roles, fostering advancements in the fields of immunology, oncology, and tissue engineering. As such, Chi3l4 stands at the intersection of several critical research domains, highlighting its importance not only as a functional protein but also as a promising target for therapeutic interventions.
