Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SPTA1, or Spectrin Alpha Chain, is a critical component of the cytoskeletal network that plays a key role in maintaining cell shape and structural integrity. In the context of research, SPTA1 has gained significant attention due to its involvement in various cellular processes, such as membrane stabilization, signaling pathways, and cellular motility. Mutations or dysregulations in SPTA1 are associated with various diseases, particularly hereditary spherocytosis and other blood disorders, highlighting its importance in hematological studies. Research on recombinant SPTA1 proteins has enabled scientists to explore the protein’s conformational dynamics and interactions with partner proteins, which are essential for understanding its functionality in health and disease. The production of recombinant SPTA1 allows for the purification and characterization of the protein in vitro, facilitating the investigation of its role in cellular mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets. Overall, the study of SPTA1 recombinant proteins is pivotal for advancing our understanding of cytoskeletal systems and their implications in various biological processes and pathologies.
