Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HES5, a member of the Hes family of basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factors, plays a pivotal role in the regulation of neural differentiation and development, particularly in the context of the Notch signaling pathway. Its primary function is to inhibit neural differentiation, maintaining cells in a progenitor state during early embryonic development. Furthermore, HES5 is implicated in various biological processes, including cell proliferation and the maintenance of stem cell properties. Given its critical functions, research into HES5 has expanded, particularly focusing on its potential implications in neurodevelopmental disorders and cancer. The recombinant HES5 protein is often produced for structural and functional studies to elucidate its mechanisms of action. By understanding HES5's interactions, regulatory networks, and downstream targets, scientists aim to gain insights into its role in development and pathogenesis. Additionally, HES5 serves as a valuable tool for exploring therapeutic strategies against conditions where aberrant neural differentiation occurs, highlighting the importance of continued research in this area.
