Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MIP3a, also known as CCL20, is a chemokine that plays a crucial role in immune system regulation and inflammation. It serves as a chemoattractant for various immune cells, particularly lymphocytes and dendritic cells, guiding their migration to sites of infection or inflammation. The importance of MIP3a in both innate and adaptive immune responses has made it a focal point of research, particularly in understanding its involvement in autoimmune diseases, cancer, and infections. The production of recombinant MIP3a protein allows for detailed studies of its biological functions, receptor interactions, and potential therapeutic applications. By examining its role in modulating immune cell behavior and the signaling pathways involved, researchers aim to uncover novel insights into immune regulation and develop targeted treatments that can manipulate MIP3a pathways for disease intervention. The recombinant protein can be utilized in various experimental setups, such as in vitro studies and in vivo models, to evaluate its effects on immune cell activation, migration, and cytokine production. Moreover, MIP3a's interaction with specific receptors, including CCR6, highlights its potential as a target for drug development, paving the way for innovative strategies in immunotherapy and the management of inflammatory conditions.
