Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GTPBP2, or GTP-binding protein 2, is a member of the GTPase superfamily, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including protein synthesis, signal transduction, and cellular growth. Recent studies have indicated that GTPBP2 is involved in mitochondrial dynamics and ribosome regulation, highlighting its importance in cellular homeostasis and function. Dysregulation of GTPBP2 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. The characterization and study of recombinant GTPBP2 proteins are essential for understanding their structure, function, and interactions with other cellular components, thereby shedding light on their biological significance. By expressing and purifying recombinant GTPBP2, researchers aim to investigate its biochemical properties, elucidate its role in cellular pathways, and explore its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The ongoing research into GTPBP2 and its recombinant forms contributes to a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms that underlie various physiological and pathological processes, ultimately paving the way for novel strategies in disease prevention and treatment.
