Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MYOM2, a member of the myomesin family, is a muscle-specific protein localized in the sarcomere, playing a critical role in muscle structure and function. Research into MYOM2 has gained momentum due to its implications in muscle development and regeneration, as well as its potential involvement in various muscular disorders, including cardiomyopathies and skeletal muscle diseases. Unlike other myofibrillar proteins, MYOM2 is characterized by a unique structure that enables it to interact with actin filaments and other cytoskeletal components, thus contributing to the stability and elasticity of the sarcomere. Recent studies have identified MYOM2 as a significant factor in the mechanosensing pathways of muscle cells, linking mechanical stress to cellular response mechanisms. Understanding MYOM2's functional roles could provide insights into the molecular underpinnings of muscle pathologies and facilitate the development of targeted therapies for muscle-related disorders. Additionally, the exploration of MYOM2 as a biomarker for muscle health is a promising avenue, as it may aid in the early detection of muscle degeneration and the assessment of therapeutic interventions. Overall, ongoing research on MYOM2 not only enhances our comprehension of muscle biology but also opens up new possibilities for therapeutic applications in the context of muscular diseases.
