Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GRK7 (G protein-coupled receptor kinase 7) is a member of the GRK family that plays a crucial role in the phosphorylation and regulation of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), which are vital for a wide range of physiological processes. Research has shown that GRK7 is predominantly expressed in the retina, where it is involved in the desensitization of photoreceptors in response to light stimuli, thereby influencing vision. Mutations or dysfunction of GRK7 have been linked to various retinal disorders, making it a significant target for understanding vision-related pathologies. The study of recombinant GRK7 proteins allows researchers to elucidate its structural and functional properties in vitro. This research could provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying GPCR signaling and its implications in diseases associated with visual impairment. Furthermore, recombinant GRK7 can facilitate the identification of potential therapeutic targets for retinal diseases and contribute to the development of innovative treatment strategies. Overall, the investigation of GRK7 and its recombinant forms is integral to advancing our comprehension of GPCR regulation and its impact on human health, particularly in the context of ocular health and disease.
