Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CNTN6, or Contactin 6, is a member of the contactin family of cell adhesion molecules that play crucial roles in neural development and signaling. Recent studies have implicated CNTN6 in various neurological conditions, including autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia, highlighting its significance in neurodevelopmental processes and neural circuit formation. Given its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target, researchers have focused on the production of recombinant CNTN6 proteins to facilitate functional studies and therapeutic applications. The recombinant protein allows for the detailed analysis of CNTN6's structural properties and interactions with other neural proteins, thereby providing insights into its role in synaptic transmission and neuronal connectivity. Additionally, understanding CNTN6's mechanisms may help develop targeted interventions for disorders associated with its dysregulation. As a result, generating and characterizing CNTN6 recombinant proteins is a key area of research that may unlock new avenues for treating neurodevelopmental disorders and advancing our understanding of neuronal dynamics.
