稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CNTNAP4 (Contactin Associated Protein 4) is a member of the neurexin superfamily and plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of the nervous system, particularly in synaptic function and neuronal connectivity. Research has indicated that CNTNAP4 is involved in several neuropsychological disorders, including autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia, highlighting its significance in neurodevelopmental processes. The protein is primarily expressed in the brain, where it interacts with various cellular partners to facilitate axon-myelin interactions and neuroglial communications. Given its essential role in synaptic regulation and potential involvement in neurological diseases, the recombinant production of CNTNAP4 has gained attention for further studies. Generating recombinant CNTNAP4 allows researchers to investigate its structural properties, functional mechanisms, and biological interactions in detail. Such studies are critical for understanding the molecular underpinnings of neurodevelopmental disorders and could pave the way for the development of targeted therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating CNTNAP4 activity to restore synaptic function. Furthermore, the elucidation of CNTNAP4's role may lead to innovative approaches in diagnosing and treating various neuropsychiatric conditions. As a result, the exploration of CNTNAP4 and its recombinant protein forms represents a promising avenue in neuroscience research, with implications for both basic science and clinical applications.
