  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

GRIPAP1 (Glycine-Rich Protein Associated with the Plasma Membrane 1) is a protein that has garnered interest in recent years due to its potential role in cell signaling and membrane dynamics. Research indicates that GRIPAP1 is involved in various cellular processes, including endocytosis and intracellular transport, which are crucial for maintaining cellular homeostasis. The protein is expressed in several tissues, suggesting a diverse functional repertoire. Studies have shown that alterations in GRIPAP1 expression may be linked to various diseases, including cancer, where it may influence tumor progression and metastasis. As a result, researchers are focusing on the recombinant production of GRIPAP1 to facilitate a deeper understanding of its structure-function relationships and to explore its potential as a therapeutic target. By analyzing GRIPAP1 through recombinant protein technology, scientists aim to dissect its interactions with other cellular components and to investigate the underlying mechanisms by which it influences cellular behavior and disease pathology. This approach could pave the way for the development of novel strategies in diagnostics and treatment, particularly in conditions where GRIPAP1 plays a crucial role. Overall, the ongoing research into GRIPAP1 and its recombinant protein form holds promise for advancing our knowledge in cellular biology and therapeutic applications.
