Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ACVA, or Acinetobacter calcoaceticus complex variable antigens, are a class of proteins that play a pivotal role in the immune response of various pathogens, particularly within the Acinetobacter genus. The study of ACVA recombinant proteins has gained significant attention due to their potential in vaccine development for infectious diseases caused by multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter species, which pose a considerable threat in clinical settings. This genus has emerged as a leading cause of nosocomial infections, highlighting the urgent need for effective vaccines and therapeutic strategies. Research into the structural characteristics and immunogenic properties of ACVA proteins aims to elucidate their role in pathogen-host interactions, aiding in the identification of protective antigens. Furthermore, advancements in recombinant DNA technology facilitate the production of these proteins in a laboratory setting, allowing for high yields and the potential for large-scale vaccine manufacturing. By understanding the nuances of ACVA proteins, researchers hope to contribute to the development of novel immunotherapeutics that can bolster host immunity and reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with Acinetobacter infections. This area of research not only promises to enhance our knowledge of bacterial pathogenesis but also holds promise for addressing a pressing public health challenge posed by antibiotic resistance.
