Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BRF1 (Bromo-Adjacent Homology Domain 1) is a critical protein involved in various cellular processes, particularly in regulating gene expression and chromatin remodeling. As a key component of the TFIIH complex, BRF1 plays a vital role in transcriptional initiation and the DNA damage response, influencing how cells respond to stress and maintain genomic integrity. Recent studies have highlighted its significance in cancer biology, as altered expression or mutations in BRF1 can lead to aberrant transcriptional programs that promote tumorigenesis. Additionally, BRF1 has been implicated in several developmental processes, making it a target of interest in understanding both normal and pathological conditions. Researchers have focused on characterizing BRF1 through recombinant protein studies to elucidate its structure-function relationships and interactions with other proteins. Such investigations aim to clarify the mechanistic pathways of BRF1 and its role in health and disease, providing insights that may lead to novel therapeutic strategies. Understanding BRF1's role at a molecular level is crucial for advancing our knowledge of gene regulation and developing interventions in diseases characterized by dysfunctional transcriptional regulation.
