Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Ly6k (Lymphocyte antigen 6 complex, locus K) is a member of the Ly6 family of proteins, which are known to play critical roles in immune responses and cell signaling. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of Ly6k in various biological processes, including stem cell maintenance, differentiation, and potentially tumorigenesis. Given its expression in germline stem cells and its association with cancer, Ly6k has emerged as a target of interest in cancer immunotherapy and regenerative medicine. Researchers aim to better understand the structural and functional properties of Ly6k by producing recombinant protein, which can facilitate the study of its interactions with other proteins and receptors. The development of Ly6k recombinant protein enables advanced techniques in characterizing its biological functions and underlying mechanisms, potentially leading to novel therapeutic strategies. By elucidating the role of Ly6k in immune modulation and cellular dynamics, the research intends to contribute to the broader understanding of its implications in health and disease, paving the way for innovative applications in targeted therapies and personalized medicine approaches.
