Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GPR155 is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) belonging to the family of orphan receptors, which means its natural ligand is yet to be identified. Understanding GPR155 is crucial due to its potential implications in various physiological processes, particularly in the central nervous system. Researchers have observed that GPR155 is highly expressed in brain regions associated with mood regulation, cognition, and motor functions, suggesting its involvement in neurological disorders. Studies have indicated that GPR155 may play a role in synaptic plasticity and neuronal development, which are critical for learning and memory. Additionally, its association with certain psychiatric conditions has raised interest in GPR155 as a potential therapeutic target. To facilitate research on this receptor, scientists have been developing recombinant GPR155 proteins. The production and characterization of these proteins enable deeper insights into GPR155's structure, function, and interactions with downstream signaling pathways. By elucidating the molecular mechanisms of GPR155, researchers aim to uncover its role in health and disease, paving the way for novel interventions in neuropsychiatric disorders.
