稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DCTN4, or dynactin complex subunit 4, is a crucial protein that plays a significant role in cellular transport and the functioning of the cytoskeleton. It is a component of the dynactin complex, which is essential for the proper movement of organelles, vesicles, and chromosomes within cells, facilitated by the motor protein dynein. Research into DCTN4 has gained attention due to its involvement in various neurodegenerative disorders and cellular dysfunctions. Mutations or aberrant expression of DCTN4 have been implicated in conditions such as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD), highlighting its importance in neuronal health and maintenance. The recombinant production of DCTN4 protein allows for detailed biochemical studies and functional assays, which can provide insights into its role in disease mechanisms and cellular processes. Understanding DCTN4 at a molecular level can pave the way for potential therapeutic strategies aimed at mitigating the pathological effects observed in related neurodegenerative conditions. As research continues to uncover the intricate pathways involving DCTN4, its study remains paramount in the fields of cell biology and neurobiology, offering hope for future interventions in diseases characterized by impaired intracellular transport and neurodegenerative pathology.
