  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The study of ENO3, a gene encoding the protein alpha-enolase, has gained significant interest due to its multifaceted roles in cellular metabolism and various physiological processes. ENO3 is primarily involved in glycolysis, where it catalyzes the conversion of 2-phosphoglycerate to phosphoenolpyruvate, thereby facilitating energy production. Beyond its enzymatic function, ENO3 is also implicated in non-metabolic processes, such as cell signaling, stress response, and immune regulation. Research has shown that ENO3 can exist in different isoforms, and its expression is tissue-specific, with ENO3 being predominantly found in muscle tissues. Additionally, its involvement in various pathologies, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, underscores its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. Recent advances in molecular biology techniques have enabled detailed studies of ENO3’s structure and function, shedding light on its role in disease mechanisms and metabolic regulation. Consequently, the recombinant production of ENO3 is essential for elucidating its biological functions and for potential applications in biotechnology and medicine. Understanding the nuances of ENO3’s actions at the molecular level could provide insights into metabolic disorders and lead to innovative therapeutic strategies.
