稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ELAC1 (ElaC homolog 1) is a crucial protein involved in mitochondrial RNA processing and quality control. Research on ELAC1 has gained significance due to its association with various diseases, particularly neurodegenerative disorders and certain types of cancer. Mutations in the ELAC1 gene have been linked to mitochondrial dysfunction, highlighting its role in maintaining mitochondrial integrity and proper function. This protein belongs to the RNase Z family and is essential for the processing of tRNA and the maturation of mitochondrial RNA, which are vital processes for cellular metabolism and energy production. Furthermore, ELAC1 has been shown to interact with other key proteins involved in mitochondrial dynamics and apoptosis, underscoring its importance in cellular health. Understanding the structure and function of recombinant ELAC1 protein can provide insights into its mechanisms of action and potential therapeutic targets for diseases related to mitochondrial dysfunction. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology and structural biology have opened new avenues for studying ELAC1, enabling researchers to elucidate its role in mitochondrial homeostasis and its implications in health and disease. Overall, the study of recombinant ELAC1 not only contributes to the basic understanding of mitochondrial biology but also holds promise for developing novel treatments for diseases associated with mitochondrial abnormalities.
