Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GNPAT (glycerolipid N-acyltransferase) is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in the biosynthesis of glycerolipids, particularly in the formation of bioactive lipids such as phospholipids and triglycerides. Research on GNPAT has gained significance due to its involvement in key cellular processes, including membrane formation, energy storage, and signaling pathways. Abnormalities in lipid metabolism, often associated with GNPAT dysfunction, have been implicated in various metabolic disorders, including obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Given the rising prevalence of these conditions, understanding the mechanistic functions of GNPAT and its role in lipid metabolism has emerged as a critical area of study. Recent advancements in recombinant protein technology now allow for the production and characterization of GNPAT to explore its enzymatic properties, substrate specificity, and regulatory mechanisms. These studies not only enhance our comprehension of lipid-related diseases but also open avenues for the development of therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating GNPAT activity for improved metabolic health.
