Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GP2 is a glycoprotein primarily expressed in the pancreas and plays a crucial role in digestive processes. It is part of the protein family involved in the formation of pancreatic zymogen granules, which are essential for the storage and secretion of digestive enzymes. Research on GP2 has garnered attention due to its implications in various physiological and pathological conditions, including pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer. Studies have highlighted GP2's potential as a biomarker for pancreatic diseases, offering insights into disease mechanisms and progression. Furthermore, GP2 has been implicated in immune responses, as it can interact with immunological pathways, suggesting its role in modulating local and systemic immunity. The exploration of GP2’s structure and function is vital for understanding its biological significance and developing targeted therapeutic strategies, including the design of vaccines or immunotherapies. Recent advances in protein engineering and recombinant DNA technology have facilitated the production of soluble GP2 proteins, enabling further studies on its properties and interactions. Overall, the investigation of GP2 is crucial for enhancing our understanding of pancreatic biology and its clinical relevance in diagnosing and treating pancreatic disorders.
