Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DUSP21 (Dual-specificity phosphatase 21) is a member of the dual-specificity phosphatase family, which plays a crucial role in regulating various cellular processes by dephosphorylating both tyrosine and serine/threonine residues on target proteins. It is implicated in the modulation of signaling pathways associated with cell proliferation, differentiation, and stress responses. Recent research has highlighted the significance of DUSP21 in cancer biology and immune responses, as its dysregulation can contribute to tumor progression and immune evasion. The study of recombinant DUSP21 proteins is essential for understanding its biochemical properties, substrate specificity, and regulatory mechanisms. By generating and characterizing recombinant DUSP21, researchers aim to elucidate its functional roles in cellular signaling and explore its potential as a therapeutic target. Given the increasing interest in phosphatases as drug targets, the investigation of DUSP21 not only enhances our understanding of its pathology but also opens avenues for novel therapeutic strategies in diseases where DUSP21 activity is altered. Furthermore, the successful expression and purification of DUSP21 in a recombinant system facilitate high-throughput screening and structural studies, providing insights into the enzyme’s mechanisms and interactions at the molecular level.
