Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KAT7, also known as lysine acyltransferase 7, is an essential enzyme involved in histone modifications and the regulation of gene expression, playing a crucial role in epigenetic processes. It primarily functions to acetylate histone H3 at lysine 14 and is implicated in various cellular mechanisms, including transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression, and differentiation. Aberrant expression or dysfunction of KAT7 has been associated with several diseases, including cancer, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic target. Research into KAT7's structure and function is vital for developing targeted therapies that can manipulate its activity for therapeutic benefit. The production of recombinant KAT7 protein allows for in-depth studies of its enzymatic properties, interactions with various substrates, and regulatory mechanisms. Furthermore, understanding the kinetics of KAT7, as well as its role in establishing and maintaining chromatin architecture, can provide insights into broader epigenetic landscapes and their influence on cellular behavior. The exploration of KAT7's role within different biological contexts, including development and disease pathology, has the potential to unveil novel strategies for intervention in epigenetic disorders and promote advancements in precision medicine.
