Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AQP9, or Aquaporin 9, is a member of the aquaporin family of membrane proteins, primarily known for facilitating the transport of water and small solutes across cell membranes. It is predominantly expressed in various tissues such as the liver, brain, and immune cells, where it plays crucial roles in physiological processes, including osmoregulation, nutrient absorption, and lymphocyte function. Recent studies have highlighted AQP9's involvement in metabolic diseases, inflammation, and cancer progression, making it a potential therapeutic target. Due to its significant physiological roles, researchers have focused on producing recombinant AQP9 proteins to better understand its structure, function, and interactions. This includes examining the protein's permeability properties and exploring its modulation by various compounds. The utilization of recombinant technologies has allowed for the generation of AQP9 in sufficient quantities for in vitro and in vivo studies, paving the way for advancements in drug development and biomedical research. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of AQP9 is vital, as it may provide insights into novel treatment strategies for diseases linked to dysregulated water and solute transport.
